Herzlich Wilkommen and a warm welcome to you from the Schützen group of the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. Schützen is a longstanding German tradition. Our group honors that tradition while having a lot of fun along the way. We shoot competitively on a 10M range, then move on to Gemütlichkeit.
Gemütlichkeit does not translate directly to English - it is a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer. We enjoy each other’s company over a beer or a glass of wine.
Air Rifle Shooting – The Schützen Group shoots in a 10 meter low velocity air rifle range, which is similar to the 10M Olympic shooting competitions. You can use one of the Daisy air rifles or you can bring your own air rifle (which must pass inspection by the range master).
